The starkness and bleakness of this image makes me feel that the vines are exhausted and in need of rest.
This is also the time that everyone at the winery catches their breath and recovers for the next season.

Sabine’s most recent passion project was to follow Margaret River winemakers Brown Hill Estate for a year. Visiting the estate every two to three weeks, Sabine followed nearly every step in the winemaking process.
True to her documentary style of photography, each image is authentic and natural; nothing is staged.
